Payment Policy
Antique Payment Policy: agreement statement notice information
How to Pay for Your Purchase
We accept and prefer the following methods of payment: PayPal, Personal Checks, Bank Drafts, Money Orders, Wire Transfers, Layaway We also accept Visa, Master Card, Debit Cards
Credit Cards
Internet credit card purchases taken via email, telephone or our secure server are limited to a maximum of $1000.00.
This is because if we process credit cards any way other than in person, such as through email or by phone, we have no signed credit card receipt on file and we cannot validate cardholder identification. This policy was recommended by our credit card processing company to limit our exposure to the growing problem of credit card fraud. Suggestions for customers who wish to use credit cards for larger online purchases are as follows:
- Checks drawn on credit card accounts can be used because we can deposit them as checks and you can pay your credit card statement as you normally do.
- Wire transfers and bank drafts can be paid for at your bank with your credit card. Again, you can pay your credit card statement as you normally do.
Credit card purchases made in person, in our gallery, are limited only by the amount of your personal line of credit. Standard methods of identification must be provided.
Personal Checks
Your check is welcomed, but it must clear the bank before we can ship your purchase. Most of the time, checks clear within seven days of deposit. If you pay for a purchase in our gallery with a personal check, standard methods of identification must be provided.
Bank Drafts
Like a personal check, a bank draft must clear the bank before we can ship your purchase. We received a $5375.00 bank draft “drawn” on the Bank of Minnesota that was returned to us as counterfeit. Since that happened, we wait seven days for bank drafts to clear.
Money OrdersLike a personal check, a money order must clear the bank before we can ship your purchase. We have received money orders that appeared authentic, even with a watermark, but they have turned out to be fraud.
Wire Transfers
This is the simplest way to pay for an online purchase. We email you with our bank account and rotating numbers, and you notify your bank that you wish to transfer the purchase amount from your account to our account. Wire transfers usually take less than 24 hours, which means we can ship your purchase as quickly as possible.
Layaway
We are happy to put your purchase on layaway for you. We ask for a 25% deposit, then three additional, equal payments of 25% each per month, for a total extension of 90 days.
Shipping Information
All shipments paid by credit card must be shipped to the credit card holder's billing address. This is because our charge card processing company requires address verification.
All orders must include a contact telephone number. UPS, Fedex and most common carriers will not allow a shipment to be sent without a telephone number. If you plan to order from us, please be sure to provide a telephone number with your order information.
We accept domestic and international orders, as well, we ship to domestic and international locations.
Art and rare, fragile pieces are crated and packed by professionals and delivered by known shipping companies.

To all Visitors
This site has been developed not just to sell Antiques and Collectibles (of course it does some of that) rather it is to provide information about Antiques, Collectibles, artwork, art pottery, furniture types, furniture styles, jewelry, and militaria from the Revolutionary War to the Vietnam War. This site is all about information and history that is not readily available elsewhere on the Internet. We think West St Paul Antiques is one of the best Antique Malls in the State of Minnesota and we have been working hard to create that excellence for the last 12 years. We have expertise on Antiques & Collectibles and as we read and study about history and antiques we also strive to be historians. We will share that expertise with you and all the visitors to our site. Stop by and visit our Antique Mall in West St Paul, Minnesota. Or, you are all welcome to visit us on the web. This is a new website for us at West St Paul Antiques. We hope you enjoy the site. Please feel free to email me directly at floydruggles@weststpaulantiques.com if you have any questions or feedback about this site. Please sign our guest book and check out our Poetry Coffee Cup Cafe, or the Out and About Gallery. The Reference Library an all 5 Museums are open to you 24/7 on this website. Stop by one of the 1st Recon Battalion pages where you can read about my experiences in Vietnam. Oh, by the way, also check out all our Antiques, Collectibles, artwork, art pottery, clocks, mall specials, furniture types and styles, jewelry and militaria items for sale on this site and in our Antique Mall. Check it out by going to Antique Mall Tour. This site will be totally commercial free with no fees to pay. I'll be working on this site over time so bear with me. It should be finished by the end of 2010 with over 500 pages at that time and 900 pages by the end of next year. Click here to go to our web Site Map and Categories.
